Internal Rules for Using the Molino del Feo
We’ve prepared this little paradise so you can enjoy yourselves and unwind to the fullest. We’d appreciate it if you’d treat the house as if it were your own, using common sense and showing respect. Here are some basic house rules for El Molino that we kindly ask you to follow:
- Doors and windows. Please keep doors and windows closed at all times, both to conserve energy and to prevent small animals from entering from outside. When ventilating, please do so with the screens down.
- Wipe off your shoes before entering homes to protect the carpets from mud.
- Fire and Firewood. Since the house is a wooden structure, please take special care with the fireplace by always using the protective spark guard and extinguishing the fire before going to sleep or leaving the house. Please use firewood sparingly, without overloading or overheating the fireplace (the rental price includes one basket of firewood per day; excessive use of firewood will be charged to your deposit). Please leave the woodpile tidy, with the firewood stacked as it was originally.
- Sun loungers and outdoor furniture. Please use the mats provided with the outdoor furniture without shoes, and with towels so that the mats do not come into direct contact with your body. Sweat stains are very difficult to remove. Please also do not place them directly on the ground; instead, place them on the appropriate furniture.
- Noise. We are located within a sensitive ecosystem, home to delicate species such as the eagle owl and the booted eagle, among others. Furthermore, sound travels through the valley for hundreds of meters, and even though we are isolated, we may disturb neighbors on other properties. For both of these reasons, we ask that you respect the peace and quiet, especially after sunset.
- Pets. Pets are welcome, and there is a surcharge per pet per day. We ask that you please not let them get on the sofas or beds, or bring them into the house when they are wet or dirty, to protect the carpets and furniture. Please clean up any waste they may leave in the garden or on the property.
- Wi-Fi. Do not reset the routers under any circumstances, as this will disrupt the network configuration. If it isn’t working properly, please call us. Alternatively, turn off the router using the on/off button, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on. Also, turn off and then turn on the Wi-Fi on your device. In the unlikely event of a power outage, you’ll need to turn the outdoor router off and then back on: contact us, and we’ll explain where and how to do it.
- Good Faith. We would appreciate it if you would let us know of any damage when you leave the Mill
- NOT ALLOWED*. Hosting parties / Accommodating more people than permitted / Inviting guests who are not staying at the property / Smoking indoors (if you smoke outdoors, please pick up your cigarette butts) / Using any fireplace or stove except the one in the living room of the main house. / Cooking in the fireplace / Lighting any outdoor fires (The barbecue may only be used during the period permitted by law) / Bringing glasses, dishes, or any glassware to the river area / Taking blankets or cushions from the bedrooms or living room outside / Do not use professional-grade speakers more powerful than the house’s system, nor make loud noises that might cause a neighbor to complain / Do not allow pets, children, or other people to walk on the garden’s planted flower beds or climb the garden’s stone embankments.
* A €50 surcharge will be assessed for negligence regarding any of the above points, even if no damage results. Any damage caused by negligence in violating these rules will be covered by the security deposit, or the additional amount will be claimed if the damage is greater.
